Things I use on my curly heat damaged hair !
For 6 months now I've been going heat free. Since then I've washed my hair every Sunday. Soon I realized I had horrible heat damage, so I'm on a mission to repair it. I've done a lot of research on what I should do but nothing has really helped, then I came across the curly girl method. This means no more shampoo, instead you co-wash (conditioner wash) with silicone free conditioner. It still get your hair clean though. You also stop using styling tools, only use your finger, and if necessary a wide tooth comb. So I've been using this method for two weeks and I can already see the difference. My hair is more moisturized than before. I am using the tresemme naturals silicone free conditioner. I use this to wash my hair, to detangle my hair, and as a leave in. This product doesn't weight down my hair and make it really soft, so this is defiantly a staple product. I also use milk protein and olive oil hair lotion just for extra moisture, it smell really good and make my hair feel "better". Although my hair has improved I'm sure I'll sil have to cut some damaged ends off. If you want to know more about the curly girl method click here. I'll be posting before and after pictures soon. So have a nice day, and rock what you've got.
